Tacita tackled the extreme routes of Hardalpitour 2014
Reliability, technology and fun to ride. Tacita tackled the HARDALPITOUR 2014, a 550 km marathon on the mountains track of Piemonte, in Italy last 6th and 7th of September.
Organized in a team made of 4 riders on the first day, and 3 riders on the second day, the Tacita crew rode the 550 km of the normal route, before the challenge of the Extreme route, a 250km additional track by night in Alta Val di Susa.
From Garessio (CN), situated close to the Maritime Alps, passing through Sestriere and the mountain tracks with a bivouac at 2,000 mt, Tacita T-Race, the first electric off road bike made in Italy, raced with the traditional bikes without any problems. On Saturday September 6, 338 bikes took the start at Garessio and the Tacita team was among them.
“We rode day and night with a correct management of the batteries, that we recharged while we were resting or eating”, comments Pierpaolo Rigo, the man behind Tacita, “with an easy logistics organization, the participation to HAT 2014 confirmed that with our electric bikes it’s possible and enjoyable to ride this kind of marathons. We only had an issue with the road book holder on the first day that made us loose some kilometres. A part from that, everything went smoothly”.
From the mountains track to the exhibition halls, the T-Race R Rally will be atIntermot show in Koln, Germany, from the 1st to the 5th of October together with the whole range of Tacita bikes.
Affidabilità, tecnologia e divertimento. Tacita continua a misurarsi su percorsi estremi, ma allo stesso tempo bellissimi dal punto di vista paesaggistico e divertenti per la guida, come nel caso della HARDALPITOUR 2014, una motocavalcata di circa 550 km sulle strade delle montagne piemontesi.
Organizzato in un team, composto da 4 piloti il primo giorno e tre al secondo, lo staff di Tacita ha affrontato i 550 Km del percorso normale, prima di cimentarsi nella prova Extreme che prevedeva un itinerario in notturna in Alta Val di Susa per ulteriori 250 km.
Da Garessio (CN), a ridosso delle Alpi Marittime, passando per il Sestriere e i percorsi di montagna con un bivacco a 2000 mt, Tacita T-Race si è misurata con le moto endotermiche tradizionali in questa grande maratona in fuoristrada, che sabato 6 settembre ha visto al via ben 338 appassionati.
“Abbiamo guidato giorno e notte, effettuando una corretta gestione delle batterie, ricaricate nei momenti nei quali il team era impegnato a mangiare o riposare”- commenta Pierpaolo Rigo, l’ideatore di Tacita, “con un minimo di organizzazione logistica, abbiamo avuto ancora una volta la conferma che con le nostre moto è possibile affrontare maratone come questa. Solo la rottura del porta roadbook ci ha fatto perdere un po’ di chilometri al primo giorno, altrimenti non abbiamo incontrato particolari difficoltà”.
La T-Race R Rally, protagonista alla HAT 2014, verrà esposta al salone Intermot di Colonia dal 1 al 5 ottobre insime alla gamma completa dei fuoristrada elettrici proposti da Tacita.
